Gmail Chapel and hermitage

The Gmail Chapel is a little-known power spot in St. Johann in Tirol. This Baroque pilgrimage chapel was built right into the rock face in 1782. The altar was hewn out of the rock and is decorated by a beautiful statue of St. Mary dating from 20th century. Walking towards the chapel, you will pass the Schützenkreuz cross and the Lourdes grotto.

Start your hike in Hinterkaiser in St. Johann at the Rummlerhof car park. From there, the hike will take around 2 hours.
