Gmail Chapel - Hermitage Maria Blut
The Gmail Chapel is a still relatively unknown spiritual power spot in St. Johann in Tirol. The pilgrimage chapel was built in 1782 as a baroque sacred structure.
The chapel is built into the rock face, with the altar carved directly into the stone. It is adorned by a beautiful statue of the Virgin Mary from the 20th century. The hike to the Gmail Chapel leads via the hermitage Maria Blut, and on the way back you can return via the Lourdes Grotto.
The hike starts in the Hinterkaiser district of St. Johann. From the parking area, the round trip takes about 2 hours in total.
